Dance
I love dance. I love ballet and Flamenco especially and surprisingly just got into swing dancing through a friend mine who enters swing dance competitions. Dance is a great way to find new genres of music. Below are three of my top five favorite dancers of all times. Josephine Baker, Maria Pages and Maya Plisetskaya. (I included 3 because I thought 5 would be to long of a post). Each women has a unique dancing styles and the music ranges from 1920'S swing and jazz to 1960'S Flamenco.
Josephine Baker (1927)
I fell in love with Josephine Baker in 9th grade. I took French for my language course and my French teacher was obsessed with her and he piratically mentioned her everyday. I really didn't pay much attention to him until I had to actually read her autobiography and I found her to be classically beautiful and beyond interesting.
